Belt bags
I worked recently on a bigger sized belt bag or bum bag which are very useful different occasions: festivals , shopping, dog walking, walking … Finally I came up with a nice pattern! Here are two of the bags.
Spring Rucksacks
Rucksack passion
Two of my big rucksacks (not only for the spring) with lots of pockets, made from a lovely canvas (cotton and steel).
The left rucksack is my prototype. I love a little bit of flower power. The jungle rucksack (made for a customer) with so vibrant colours. I believe these colours are very inspiring.
Tokidoki fabric
This minimalistic bag, made from the colourful tokidoki fabric, has enough space for valuables and it is very practical.
I designed a big backpack (lots of pockets) also made with the fabric. It is not only machine stitched hand stitching was also required.
For the sewers: A light iron on interfacing is needed to work with the fabric. The bags are also padded to give them more stability.

DOG COLLAR
Dog collar with stretch fabric
The dog collar is a custom order. She choose this colourful material, for her black dog, a mix between a German Shepherd and a Labrador.

More cushions made, this time with fabric from liberty, to give the cover more support I used light interfacing and added fusible fleece.

Flying geese cushion autumn colours
I love the flying geese , which I used for my cushion pattern. The top is quilted with just a few lines, because I didn’t like to cross the main pattern.
Workshops with a friend!
Envelope cushion including paper piecing!
Two weeks ago a friend and I worked on a paper piecing (the flying geese), which we then turned into an envelope cushion!
With the rest of this lovely Laura Ashley fabric we created a shopping bag for her.

She choose green colours and I love the touch of quirkiness to it.
The handles are made in the same way as you see in Straps from scraps !
We stitched the front and back with the a French seam together.
with a pocket in the front and the long straps her designer bag is completed!
